Stately Traditional

Project Location: Plant City, Florida

Service Provided: Interior Design

Scope of Work: Full conceptualization and design of entry foyer

Design Style: Classic Traditional

Notable Inspiration: Ralph Lauren

What made the finished design unique: Our love of mixing old with new served us well in this project. We updated our client’s existing crystal statement chandelier by painting the walls a deep, moody blue jewel tone and using gold foil for the ceiling, which made the space feel more like a stately residence than the dated entry foyer it once was. The gallery wall was an impressive 16’ high by 20’ wide. Our goal was to curate a selection of pieces that felt as though they had been collected over time. Using a single inspiration image provided by the client, we scoured our favorite consignment shops, flea markets and secondhand stores. We played with lines and shapes, textures and finishes. We also incorporated pieces of artwork that held great meaning to our client, creating a deep, personal connection to the space.

We bet you’d never guess: This stylish entry foyer isn’t inside a residence, but a house of worship!

Our favorite part: There is no bigger compliment than to be given free reign over a project like this, as it shows that our clients trust our taste, knowledge, and commitment to their satisfaction.

Our client’s reaction: When it was time to reveal the gallery wall and the entire space, the client literally gasped and took a long pause to take it all in. They were completely surprised and loved every detail of every piece.
