At HLM Designs, every project begins with a vision—but it becomes something far more powerful: a fully realized experience tailored to the people who live, work, and gather within it.

We’re excited to introduce five new luxury interior design projects in Tampa Bay, each one distinct in style, story, and execution. From deeply personal residential transformations to a hospitality-driven commercial remodel, these spaces reflect what happens when thoughtful design meets bold creativity.

Each project is layered, intentional, and designed to be experienced—not just seen.

Bennett — A New Chapter, Thoughtfully Designed

Located in Palma Ceia in Tampa, this residential remodel is a deeply personal project shaped by transition, identity, and renewal. Designed for a client stepping into a new phase of life, the home blends traditional modern design with craftsman and Spanish influences.

What makes Bennett exceptional is its level of detail and emotional connection. A single wallpaper swatch became the foundation for the entire home’s palette, while the kitchen’s full color drenching and dramatic mosaic backsplash create both cohesion and visual intrigue.

In the primary bathroom, earthy greens, warm brass, and natural textures create a sense of calm that reflects the client’s love of gardening and the outdoors.

Krueger — A Cinematic, Story-Driven Entry Experience

The Krueger project transforms an entry foyer and powder bath into an immersive, almost cinematic experience rooted in dark academia design.

Inspired by storytelling, magic, and old-world elegance, this space balances drama with refinement. A wallpapered ceiling creates a cloud-like glow overhead, while deep, moody tones and tailored millwork ground the design.

What makes this project truly unique is its balance—blending two distinct design preferences into one cohesive vision that feels curated rather than themed.

LFC Women’s Restroom — Redefining Commercial Design Expectations

In Plant City, HLM Designs reimagined what a restroom can be.

This commercial remodel draws inspiration from boutique hotels and European interiors, transforming a functional space into a design moment that elevates the entire guest experience. Deep burgundy tones, Moroccan-inspired tile, and layered lighting create an environment that feels intimate, elegant, and unexpected.

Each water closet carries its own personality through distinct wallpaper selections—proving that even the smallest spaces can deliver the biggest impact.

Morris — Bold Color, Seamless Living

The Morris project in Tarpon Springs is a masterclass in color drenching and multifunctional design.

A deep, immersive navy media room doubles as a guest space while maintaining a refined, elevated aesthetic. Every detail—from custom furnishings to even electrical elements—was thoughtfully integrated into the monochromatic palette.

In contrast, the sunroom offers a softer, serene retreat, layered in calming tones and designed for relaxation and connection.

This project demonstrates how bold design can still feel livable, flexible, and sophisticated.

Lalli — A Home Designed for Real Life, Beautifully

The Lalli project in Lutz represents the intersection of beauty, functionality, and deeply intentional design.

Created for a growing family with specific accessibility needs, this home was redesigned to support every member of the household seamlessly—without sacrificing elegance.

A full-home color drench establishes calm and continuity, while layered materials, custom built-ins, and one-of-a-kind elements like a handcrafted copper range hood bring richness and depth to every space.

What makes Lalli extraordinary is not just how it looks—but how it works. It’s a home designed to support real life, quietly and beautifully.

Design That Goes Beyond the Surface

Across all five projects, a few themes emerge:

  • Design as experience, not decoration

  • Layering of materials, textures, and storytelling

  • Bold, intentional choices that still feel timeless

  • Spaces that improve how clients live, feel, and connect

At HLM Designs, luxury is not defined by trends—it’s defined by how a space performs and how it makes you feel.
